Hands-On STEAM Experiences That Prepare Young People for the Future

STEAM on Wheels provides robotics, engineering, 3D printing, coding, art, and career exploration programs for K–12 students throughout the Quad Cities and surrounding communities.

Our Goal.

At STEAM On Wheels, we aim to provide students with learning opportunities that may not be available in a traditional classroom. We do this by exposing students to educational science experiments, hands-on projects, and interactions with volunteers in the STEAM field.

Our Beliefs.

We believe in teaching students by example and through hands on activities that reinforce concepts and enable long-term retention. We try to uplift underprivileged students through our outreach and scholarship programs.

Our Community Impact

  • Delivered hands-on STEAM learning to over 1,750 students across diverse communities.

  • Ran more than 20 tailored programs—after-school clubs, in-school curriculum, camps, and workshops—designed to spark curiosity and build real-world skills.

  • Reached a student population that is 80% students of color, centering equity and representation in STEAM.

  • Served communities where 80% of participants come from reduced-income households, removing barriers to quality STEAM education.

Our reach shows measurable commitment: equitable access, meaningful engagement, and scalable programming that closes opportunity gaps and prepares students for future success.
